Royal Mackintosh Hotel 'Book direct for best B&B rates'

This hotel was a disappointment. All the ingredients are there, like comfy bed, restaurant, bar, BUT absolutely no vibes. The staff was friendly, but dirty dishes stayed in the hallway for days, the restaurant was super dark. I booked this based on the pictures at Booking.com and was hoping for a romantic finish to the trail. I never found the wintergarden i saw in those pictures.
